Then in 1954 President Dwight Eisenhower changed Armistice Day into Veterans Day celebrating all veterans. The New York Jets football team is many peoples favorite NFL team. Some of their great players that add to their success and popularity are Brett Favre, Thomas Jones, and Leon Washington to name a few. Mike Tannenbaum is the general manager of the team. The head coach for the team is Eric Mangini. The New York Jets are expected to due very well this season. We will have to watch and see.

Our world is constantly developing and changing. As a result, the world has entered a new time, evolving from an industrial era into a knowledge-based society. Into a society that wants to live in harmony with nature, and save our planet! There are many ways to go green. Election Results

November 4, 2008 marks a very historical day for the United States of America. On this day Barack Obama won the 2008 presidency, making him the first black president. Obama won by a clean sweep. He had 349 electoral votes, 53% popular vote, where McCain had only 163 electoral votes, and 46% of the popular vote. Barack Obama received over double the amount McCain did. So come January 20,2009, which is the presidential inauguration day, our new president will be Barack Obama.
