Governor of Illinois

The Governor of Illinois, Blagojevich, was arrested last Tuesday on corruption charges. Some of the corruption charges included bribes and political favors that he sought. The bribes were from politicians who were trying to take the President-elect, Obama's, vacated Senate seat. Blagojevich, was arrested and asked to resign from Obama himself. Due to this, the Illinois state legislature is going to takeover the responsibility of replacing Obama's seat, or the are going to hold a special election.
