2010 Oil Spill

The May 2010 oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico has proven to be devastating. Since the initial explosion more than 4 million gallons have been spilled into our ocean spanning miles and miles and miles. HBSunglassCompany is worried that this will be on of the largest manmade disasters ever and the impact will be profound. To date, eleven men were killed from the explosion, thousands of fishermen are out of work since the government has closed down commercial fishing in parts of Gulf waters, and much of the coastal wildlife have been greatly affected. HSBC hopes that this spill we be taken care of as quickly as possible and will as little devastation as possible.
