JP Morgan Chase
Since the start of the year, JP Morgan Chase has bought out two huge US Financial Firms. Their most recent takeover includes Washington Mutual Bank. Washington Mutual is a 119 year old company. JPMorgan Chase agreed to buy them out for 1.9 billion dollars, creating the largest banking institution in the United States. It will include over 900 billion customers. This is known as the biggest banking failure in US history known to date.
