Stocks under $1
The stock market has taken a plunge, and now you can pick up many stocks for under one dollar. Many large mortgage companies have taken a huge hit when it comes to their stocks. For example, Fannie Mae used to trade at $41 and is now down to $.82 a share. Thornburg Mortgage currently sits at $.30 when it is used to be up to $140. Due to this, they have been suspended form trading on the NYSE. Another example, though not as vast as the previous example, is FRE, Freddie Mac. It currently sits at $.77, when it's high was at $37. These huge drops are devastating and are a reflection of our declining economy.
