CE

In order to sell to 27 countries in Europe, your product must meet certain standards. These standards were established back in 1985 between EC ministers to implement a new approach to technical harmonisation and standards. This 'New Approach" eased the free movement of goods within Europe. The "New Approach" contains certain requirements that a product must meet when being manufactured in order to be sold in Europe. A few of the countries that require it in Europe are Germany, Italy, Ireland, Malta, and Romania. HBSunglassCompany complies with these regulations when manufacturing their sunglasses. A valid CE marking is affixed to the inside of their sunglasses. This marking indicated that it complies with the relevant European New Approach product safety Directives. So if this is important to you when purchasing wholesale sunglasses, then you should not have to think twice from purchasing from HBSunglassCompany.com.

Swine Flu Vaccine

HBSunglassCompany recommends that everyone, especially children, go out and get their swine flu shot. On November 16th, 2009 the FDA announced that they have approved another swine flu vaccine, thus being the 5th approved. This particular vaccine is being manufactured by a Canadian Company called ID Biomedical Corp who is owned by GlaxoSmithKline. This vaccine is egg-based and contains the mercury containing organic compound thimerosal. At the end of October President Obama announced the swine flu a national emergency, thus strongly recommending that children receive the H1N1 shot. Some children under 10 are even needing a second dose to make the initial swine flu vaccination effective. There has been a shortage, especially with some needing two doses, so that is why the need for the 5th, most recent, release was approved.
